What is it?
It is a summer club for year 1 to year 6 school children.
When is it?
It normally runs every year during the month ofAugust. The club lasts 5 days, Monday to Friday, for 2 hours each day, 10am – 12 noon.
How long has it been in operation?
The first club started way back in 1965! The present coordinator is Alex Milligan who took over from Jayne Farrow in 2008.
What do the children do?
Have lots of fun! The children take part in crafts, games, quizzes and refreshments are provided. The event is usually led by a children’s evangelical entertainer.
What do the Parents do?
Bring the kids along and have 2 hours of peace and quiet at home! There is a barbeque on the Thursday evening to which all the Parents are invited and also on the last day, Friday, you can come in for the last half hour to witness the prize giving and get a glimpse of what your kids have been doing.
