At Fleckney Baptist Church we seek to know Jesus and make him known. We long to do this by being a Church that lives by faith, is known by love, and is a voice of hope in our community. As we seek to do this, the following values are at the heart of all we do.

All About Jesus
As a church, Jesus is at the centre of everything we do. In all our actions and activities we seek to put Jesus first, committing to play our part in Christ’s mission to bring hope and restoration to a broken world. We strive to follow His teachings, embrace His love, and grow in our relationship with Him in all areas of our life together. Through worship, prayer, and study of His Word, we seek to deepen our understanding of Jesus and live our lives in a way that reflects His grace, compassion, and love.
 

Bible Based
As a church, we firmly believe in the authority and power of the Bible. It serves as our guide, providing us with timeless wisdom, truth, and direction for our lives. We value the Word of God, and our teachings, decisions, and actions are rooted in its principles. Through studying and applying the Scriptures, we seek to grow in faith and obedience, allowing God's Word to transform us from within.
 

Community Focused

We believe that life is meant to be lived in community, and Church is the same. We long to be a welcoming Church where people come together, forming meaningful relationships, creating space for people to connect, grow, and share their journey of faith. We believe that everyone has a part to play in God’s Kingdom, and in the life of our Church. With our different skills, giftings and experiences, we aim to build a genuine and compassionate community that reflects God's love to the world. We recognise that true community is not just about giving of what we have, but also receiving what others have to bring.

 

Disciple Making

At Fleckney Baptist Church we long to see people grow as disciples of Jesus. This starts by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. We believe that a relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in life and so are passionate about introducing people to the transformative power of His love and salvation through our words, actions and presence. Discipleship is not simply about one decision to follow Jesus, and so whether people are new to faith, or have been Christians for many years, we long to equip individuals to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We encourage personal growth through studying the Word, prayer, worship, and applying biblical principles to our daily lives. Together, we seek to grow deeper in our faith and become more like Jesus.
